Another thing influencers can do is invest in companies and people who build stuff, this is a co-adaptive situation where the company gains the benefit of adoption via the influencers and the influencers get paid from the growth of said company. I feel like this adds a lot of fakeness to certain online interactions, and I don’t want that to do things like that. I have very much enjoyed just talking with users directly, building stuff that they ask for, just being open and real. Maybe I can build a successful product this way, maybe thats too naive. I’m not sure how i started or where im going with this rambling train of thought so ill end it here. #insomniathoughts

Why not try add an option for Damus users to buy sats via Apple like on primal app? The sats could be sent to user’s custodial/non-custodial LN wallet, and you take a small cut. While helping new users have a taste of the orange pill… and embed video tutorials or wizards to guide new users to setup from a list of recommended NWC/LN wallet.

It could be inevitable as nostr grows and attracts more of mainstream society, but that kind of goes with free speech. It’s really the user’s responsibility to mute content that’s unhealthy or sketch and follow real, like-minded folk. Knives are really helpful for cooking, but can also be used for murder. Any kind of “social media”can be used destructively, but I would say it’s the lesser of two evils compared to the alternatives.

I rekon a lot of folks who’ve become influencers or customers of, have become victims inside a virtue signaling matrix that seems hard to get out of for some .. one of the biggest key factors of being a good leader is being a good follower as well, so there’s that , #nostr is the only digital internet where you actually own your stuff (notes and so on now .. ,, you don’t have to say who you really are but maybe some fear that ? I see it as a huge blessing ,, thanks for all you have done and continue to do!
