Yes, agreed. Damus should send the sats bought via Apple to a third-party LN address or NWC wallet linked to Damus.
1. Click setup wallet in Damus
2. Pick from list of recommended external wallets
3. Watch an embedded video to setup the chosen wallet.
4. Once Damus (and Nostr profile) is connected to wallet, Damus would suggest preset amounts in local currency to buy sats via Apple in-app purchases.
Most lightning wallets today can’t even buy $5 worth of sats using Apple Pay. And it takes a long time to teach family and friends how to buy sats from places like binance (which they have to KYC anyway). If Damus users can guided within Damus app to skip those centralized exchanges when acquiring sats, would be great.
