Idk if it's better than the Pro but probably either the same or better, yeah. I got her Nier Automata and Ace Combat 7 specifically because I read that both play better than on the PS4 but that's the standard console ofc.
Nier would run at 1080 at 30 on ps4. On ps5 it runs at 4k 60 with hdr.

If you want a list for ps5, look up ps4 pro enchanced games and ps5 enhanced games. Rule of thumb is most big budget ps4 games got 4k and hdr, and most first party sony games got 4k, hdr, and 60 or 120 fps boosts. Or games like Spiderman and Death Stranding have new ps5 versions that let you buy the new ps5 version for $50 or $60 off.

In some cases, yes. God of War 2018 and Spiderman are running better. Batman Arkham Asylum and Batman Arkham City from the Return to Arkham collection seem to play poorly. It depends on whether they've bothered patching the game.
I saw a lot of people complaining about Bloodborne. Probably for the best because I don't think she plays difficult games anymore.

It's really fucking stupid that this hasn't just happened officially yet. We're almost at the 10 year mark and it's still not on PC.
I don't understand why they don't patch the game for 60FPS because it seems to be a trivial change. I also don't understand why they don't port it, as it seems like a guaranteed money spinner.

I'm just pissed every game in the series runs great on steam deck except Asylum which doesn't launch at all.

You might be aware, but you can override the compatibility in the game settings. Proton-GE has instructions on their site.

Fair enough. It can be hit and miss with games. I can't get some games working properly, normally minor issues.
