Their economy and "Military Industrial Complex" are growing by leaps and bounds from the idiotic and unconstitutional wars brought against them through proxies by US neocons and Deep State. ("So what if 500K Ukrainians died, they weren't Americans. Best money we ever spent.") Also, it is not clear what will happen when Putin leaves office. I would study their Constitution, and whether they are likely to adhere to it for long.

If you don't like Russia (too cold), India seems to be doing well, with a space program, moon probes, and other impressive achievements. Still seems to be some color based caste system, from what I hear though. Christianity is a minority religion in India - which often makes it more authentic.
