aw, I've only noticed the second part now, lol oke, we were talking bout different things. anyways: I don't believe in good people. actually, I believe those who claim to be good people are actually the worst. but oke that's not the point then again. once you realize you're as evil as one gets to be, then you have necessary consciousness to balance the force within. and then, finally, you need no words at all.
What you believe, you manifest, in my humble opinion. There are good and not so good people. In a reality based on duality, one cannot exist without the other. Don't confuse perfection with being good. We are humans, we all have this duallity inside of us, in each and all of us. Good/Bad, Masculine/ Feminine, Love/ Indiferenve....etc... What we choose, at any moment ,is what makes us a good or not so good person.
"there is no essence, but a set of appearances", as Sartre would say. or as Hobbes would say, complementing it: "homo homini lupus". I have a great evil inside me, yeah. the conciouness of it makes me wanna balance it and prevents me from doing evil. the moment I say " I'm a good person", tho, is the moment I betray myself and start tending to the dark force. good needs no words. you're only as good as your actions prove you good.
There is a saying in my country ,chat goes like this "Todo o bem se faz em silêncio, o resto é teatro ." (All good is done in silence, the rest is theatre) I believe in this and agree with you. Glad to see you self aware.
