 Yup. Use Breez for value-for-value podcast support.  

 How? I thought Breez was just a lightning wallet? 

 The icon on the upper left part of the screen pulls up a menu from which you can select 'podcasts'. From there it has similar functionality to Fountain, except you're streaming sats from a wallet that you own the keys to.  

 breeze has had V4V podcast for a long time and was one of the first apps to have podcast and lightning. It has podcast listed on the left hand menu. 

 Yeah I think the problem AND the great thing is that there is many v4v rss clients. That's OK y'all. Some do things better than others. The ecosystem is evolving.

Try them all! See what you like. The attitude of shit on X app, use Y app is not helpful IMHO. All of them have pros and cons.

Breez has this yet, but I would say it's not a podcast first app. That's fine. Try it out.  

 Sphinx was the first podcast app with lightning and Breeze was 2nd. Breeze is a wallet that plays podcast and they only have ones that support streaming sats and Boosts so arguably they are the most bullish Bitcoin podcasting app.

 You ser are the podcasting 2.0 historian. 

 The problem there is it’s essentially EOL and receiving few if any updates. Which is a big security and UX issue. The company is focused on their SDK and has publicly acknowledged they don’t know what they’ll do with the app and may sunset it altogether. Love Roy and the Breez app, but just important people know this. 

 That's a shame to hear. Since the code is open source, let's hope someone picks up the ball and runs with it.  

 EOL? I never said that... I've clearly stated we're not deprecating the app. Whilst we are focused on our SDK, the app is being maintained and we're keeping it aligned with the latest lnd stack.

 The CDN gateways are run by a different project, ar.io (IO tokens) which are Proof of Stake. 👀 

 This is true, I do not fully agree with this decision, however I do see some rationale behind it as outlined in that article.  The main protocol is Proof of Work, so you can not get voted out.

 Arweave is a decentralized business taking in revenue.  It does NOT compete with Bitcoin for general purpose money.  In fact, Arweave sucks for money with slow transactions and horrible privacy.  Arweave transactions are linked to the same wallet you used for your content, which everyone can see

Nobody in their right-mind would use Arweave to buy a bag of coffee.  But nobody in their right-mind would deny the great value that Arweave offers to HOST a website selling coffee, that then collects Bitcoin from customers.

So Arweave enables Bitcoin businesses to defy oppressive censorship.  Which after these Samarai wallet and Telegram incidents, they seem to be interested in doing.  So while I dislike shitcoin venture capitalists printing money, at least they are doing a Proof of Work single-business coupon that improves my life, with no downside for me beyond education.

This is the purpose of Nostr, but Nostr relays don't store images, video, audio files.  Now can they using Bitcoin?  Sure, but that's not programmed into it.  Therefore, it requires trust.  Trust is centralized.

 Fountain is trash, and this latest update nuked my acct. I'm starting to wonder if the team is secretly trying to destroy the #v4v ecosystem. All the posts here of people raving over the nostr integration were promoted by them, yet mine about my acct getting nuked was completely ignored. Its also really starting to look a lot like Musk's one app to rule them all idea. All in all, I'm glad it happened

So we just got the Arweave RSS going for the website, we're going put out some educational content shortly on how to use the protocol to update your domains.  It's fairly easy to just upload, but to update the same feed is a little technical.  Do you have any Linux experience? That's a good place to start because their best wallet uses the command line.  You'd be typing things such as:

ardrive upload "your file name here" 

 I'm not sure that exists... When you say hosting, that is where the audio (mp3) file is stored and played from the rest of the services use rss feed to "fetch" the link to the show. You could self host it with a hosting service or start your own server like start9, but if you begin to use a lot of bandwidth, your ISP might not like that.
