it is facts, though, that users posing as females are very much more often scammers but it is also facts that the introducer was not known well by corndalorian who was just watching what he thought was a social attack, greasing a scammer up with credibility he was wrong, but men need to be extra careful online especially lonely men
Corndalorian knows as many of the npubs as any of us do: hardly any. Just don't give people you know nothing about money that you would mourne over losing and mute strangers that contract you, privately, out of the blue. This is basic online adulting. I've zapped all sorts of npubs and who knows if they're still even here. Oh well. I had fun zapping.

I once set up (what I thought was) an obvious parody account of 'omg I'm just a girl what is the bitcoins, can you tell me more'. I thought it was quite obvious and silly, in fact I made it increasingly more and more ridiculous but I had to change my ln wallet to Will's.

The parody account was 'omg wow please tell me more about the bitcoins and say the funny slogans' The current account is 'omg please shut the fuck up about bitcoin and your cunting slogans'. Two sides of the same bitcoin lol
I'm slowly removing bitfags from my feed. Unfollowing each like pulling a weed. Without them it's mostly fedi posts about hating niggers and kikes which are boring too. Got a DM from a girl account once, thought it was a bot, but it was a human scammer. Overall, I dont see the appeal for a normal person. Still better than anything else (for me) just cause no bans.

it would take some work for me to find it but i got accused of being an AI chatbot because i can write so much in a short time due to my fancy keyboard and decades of touch typing
@Laeserin i've been accused of being on meth, and of being an AI more recently because i can type so much in as short period of time, with quite a lot of signs of knowing a lot of stuff let's not make this about the gender or you set it up for a longer brawl than it has to be

It's not always about gender, but it often is, as that's the easiest way to classify people and form a mob to go after someone you don't like. Just have to remind them of something nasty someone similar did and they get all riled up. NPCs that they are. 🙄 I just take the opportunity to mute them for failing the discernment test.
my point is that trying to propose that the cause of this is gender and the female persona is unproductive because that is a lazy evaluation, and it's generally a good rule, so attacking a good rule is stupid better to defuse the situation by pointing out that some people get accused of being crazy, on drugs, and AIs, and that being suspicious is not a crime nor is voicing your suspicions but what is crappy is not backing down when you are wrong

it was cool though, totally shamanic experience, i don't even remember much about it except the image of this slimy grey ash tar thing slithering like a cockroach out of my sight, but i caught him for like 3 or 4 seconds, didn't look away, i am not at all in doubt that i saw something and i've seen a number of odd things in my life... at one point i used to see shadows a lot, and another point, my cat's ghost would appear everywhere (he wasn't dead yet) and i still see these flashes of things now and then you get used to it, but there is no question in my mind that i'm picking up on something real with actual impact on our lives modern graffiti artists sometimes immortalise them by painting the vision onto the place where they saw it, every time i see that it makes me smile
i remember him from twitter, and the whole twitter hive mind mentality persisted in nostr for most of the first year and into this second year... from my recent experience of opening cans of whoop ass to scammers in my recent years you have to provoke them to open up their soft parts, the more riled up you can get them, the better, the more likely they are to give you a way to drive the point home
