 It’s said Italy is gluten free friendly. It’s not. My celiac spouse really struggled to eat there. They KNOW what celiac is so they’ll straight up tell you “everything is cross contaminated”. 

 Gluten free friendly?? I’d say it’s the complete opposite 😅

 I’m dairy free! I had vegan gelato. Pasta. And pizza. 💃 

 You can get around without dairy. 

But cheese!! 🥲 

 😂  The pizza had no cheese. I’ll admit it was bland. 🥴  But the pasta dishes were tomato based and they were tasty. 

 It’s called a vacation. You can always go back to your old way when you get home. Besides lots of animals are killed in the cultivation process, so you’re not getting away from that. 

 Eggplant marinara without cheese is good. 

 Yes, but that’s something you can make anywhere in the world. Visiting Italy and not eating any of the good stuff? Sad. 

 Well, I love eggplant marinara so much I'd even eat it Italy. 😅 

 Wait, what about polenta?  

 More depressing than that only if they go into one of those USA military bases in Italy and eat in their "restaurants" there. Fuck off USA and NATO!
