I think it really comes down to the lack of people that are on this protocol. You have to keep in mind that it's only 3 years old. The devs are building it as fast as they can without having that much funding. So they're doing it at their own expense with their own free time [there are exceptions obviously (Opensats contributing)]. But I think what you're feeling is the growing pains of being early to something that is revolutionary. It's not supposed to be easy and it's not supposed to be comfortable. Otherwise it wouldn't be worth it.

 It's also about stalking and potential fear is serious injuries.
I was nearly killed by a stalker. Curb stomped and almost killed.
It's not comfortable that the only thing I can do is mute a potential threat, but they get to look at what I post and share it with their potential bad actor teine of friends. 

 I guess you have to limit the amount of information you post. Stalkers can only stalk with the info they have at their disposal. Don't feed it to them. 🫂
I'm sorry that happened to you, that's not right. 

 I'm an adult worker. There's no not sharing my face or body and it's the only thing that works, and I don't want it to be the only thing that works but it is. 

 I hate that those risks exist for you. I dont have all the answers. I'm also not here to lay judgement. But you have to know that having all those eyes on you increases risk. You have no way of knowing who's eyes they are.  

 I do know. Blocking them from my life works.

 Also, i don't know if you can because it depends on where you live, but you should learn how to shoot proficiently and carry a pistol.  Seems like you should have that on your person 😉
