Yes, this paper documents ways of tracking information about lightning translations, presented last week by two researchers at a university in Dresden. Lightning is not a privacy solution. It is not stress-tested and anybody trying to sell it as a solution for Bitcoin privacy is either ignorant or intellectually dishonest.
And you're welcome. I AM helping by talking about vulnerabilities. You are not helping because you're trying to sell a beta solution as already finished. Bitcoin became what it is today because of thinking critically and adversarily. You are actively working against that.

I haven't quite figured out to what extent something is actually going on. Yes, there is AI analysis, but it seems to rely quite significantly on regular, automated actions and a direct link to "service providers" as those are more predictable. That means they can trace transactions to some extent. But is that all there is about it?

Monero and Bitcoin are not the same thing. Bitcoin is an investment, not an a currency. That's why everyone HODLs and never use it. Monroe is a currency, not an investment. You use it for private purchases. Never keep your wealth in a currency. Both charge a transaction fee. 😠 Goldbacks is a currency that maintains it's commodity value relative to inflation/deflation, and is private. And it doesn't need a complex high tech network, or high tech devices to work. Why not have them all?
I completely disagree that nobody uses Bitcoin as a currency, considering we all use it on nostr, and first hand experience seeing thousands of stores using btcpayserver and nodeless when I was working on that I would bet my whole stack more real world transactions for goods and services take place in BTC than monero. Especially considering we now have countries using it as legal tender. A good currency can both appreciate and be used as a medium of exchange
moneros tx volume is usually less than 10% BTCs so this is certainly true 👍 probably a higher % of XMR txs are MoA type txs but BTC absolutely has more total txs
That's just on chain, nostr alone has 3.5 million zaps in last 400 days, lightning we'll never know because it's much more private than monero 🐸💀
