Especially considering we now have countries using it as legal tender. A good currency can both appreciate and be used as a medium of exchange
moneros tx volume is usually less than 10% BTCs so this is certainly true π probably a higher % of XMR txs are MoA type txs but BTC absolutely has more total txs

What country? El Salvador government that hodls it? Vast majority of users that use Lightning there aren't really using it. They use a custodian like Chivo wallet moving numbers around on a centralized server. Besides, stablecoins like Tether are way more popular there. They dominate Asia, Africa, and South America too.
