 I don't understand the resistance to eating plants and animals... 
 It's easy to understand. Plants have defense chemicals built in, are not generally nutrient dense and the good stuff isn't as bioavailable as you might think. 

Animal meat is the opposite.  
 I was speaking in regard to ultra-processed foods. I understand the phytochemical issure. Some are sentive and cooking for fermentation helps tremendously. Nutrient content had much to do with growth method. Industrial NPK and pesticide/herbicide grown vegitation obviously had issues that organic compost produce does not.
