What are some ways to mitigate covid infection after spending time with someone who is sick? Nasal sprays? Iodine mouthwash? Zinc supplement?
breathing exercises during covid helped me a lot
Hand washing is the only after the fact effort. I mean if you're the type there's some hopium types that advocate Ivermectin, but I'm not a believer.

I also did a simple saline solution rinse with a netty pot and it worked really well I reckon
My dad would recommend quercetin and zinc supplements. They always made me feel kind of sick, though. Vitamin D. Our main antiviral and respiratory herb is hyssop (Hyssopus officinalis).
Take vitamin-C (>2000 mg spread over at least 3 times during the day. liposomal vitamin C will allow you to take more without digestive complaints). Take Vitamin-D3 (30,000 - 50,000 IU if you haven't been taking any) and Vitamin-K2 (I generally take 1 vitamin-K2 for every 5,000 IU). Take Zinc (50 mg) with Quercetin (zinc ionophore to get the zinc in your cells which helps prevent replication of the virus) (EGCG works, too.) Use a neti pot with saline with a few drops of povidone iodine and/or colloidal silver.
Food grade hydrogen peroxide in a nebulizer. Worked every time when we were around someone sick. None of us ever got anything
If you're healthy, you should be fine. Vitamin D is crucial but I'm sure you're outside frequently & don't lather on sunscreen. A vit D supplement would be good if it was winter or spring though. Zinc is probably helpful. Start fasting if you start to feel ill (I naturally tend to do this anyway). Otherwise eat your ruminant meat for nutrition. The only time I've gotten sick in the last 4 years has been after a series of late nights with alcohol. I was run down & I'm pretty sure that it was Rona I caught.
Your question got me thinking. I've just ordered a few grams of methylene blue. I don't think it's something you'd take regularly or for prolonged periods, but if in a state of dis-ease, it does appear to be a magic bullet of sorts. It seems to be a pretty useful all round & benign drug for acute biological threats: - treating poisons - inflammation - mitochondria dysfunction - cancer (restores mitochondrial function) - antimicrobial & antiviral (dengue fever treatment) I tried it once 5 years ago & I didn't like the chemical taste. I do think it's something that is useful to have on hand. This is where I sourced it - cztl.bz
Mix 1/4 c each in a small jar: Neem powder - it's antibacterial, antiviral and antiinflammatory Guducchi -supports immune system Tulsi powder - supports respiratory system Then take 1/2 tsp mixed with warm water 3x /day for two to three days. Can also take this before going to a party... If you're not drinking alcohol... Additionally, you can do a saline nasal rinse -- I wrote an article about covid and the nasal passages https://yogawithlois.com/nasal-irrigation-neti-pot-clears-sinuses-and-steadies-the-mind/
