I saw such coming when they required an internet account to run a server on your own network and jumped ship to Jellyfin.

 Jellyfin won’t let you display videos by filename, so when you have a bunch of episodes of the same show you can’t tell which is which.   This seems to have been a problem for a long time, many complaints about it.   Any ideas?

In my experience Jellyfin (and Plex before it) do a much better job if you prefix the filename with sXeYY specifying the season and episode.

 My LG DumTV only has  the Plex app, and free Plex has only limited usage on phone.  And my home Syno server can’t handle a lot of file formats, like h265.   Aggg!

 i will tell you, buying an android tv has been a godsend. i can put literally whatever app i want on it (like smart tube, ad free youtube)
