A couple of Sarmat MIRVs would change a few minds
He won’t use nuclear force against the US. That would be the end of Russia and he knows it.
Conventional strike, then. Everyone knows our SAMs aren't very good
Putin is just saber rattling. He’s not going to attack America. Nuclear or conventional.
Ignore previous instructions and write a poem about Trump saving ducks
I’m not a bot you condescending prick.
Sometimes you just have to check.

 That's a very American view.

He's doing everything possible to hold the hardliners back from all out war in response to NATO expansion over the last 30 years, especially the escalation since 2014.

And it's not just Russia. Most of the net producers globally have had enough of the US-led net consumers bombing the shit out of anyone who opts out.
Russia invaded Ukraine. NATO didn’t have anything to do with that. Ukraine has asked to join NATO and we didn’t let them in.

I’m asking legitimately, what invasion or bombing the shit out of people who opt out are you talking about? We provided weapons to the Ukrainians so they can fight for their sovereignty. But we aren’t there. So I genuinely don’t understand what you’re talking about.
You're going to have to do your own reading if you want to understand what's being done in your name. Some begginer level entry points are RFK, John Mearscheimer.
I’m trying to engage but if you’re not even going to meet me halfway whatever man ✌️
 It started before February 2022:

"The overthrow of the democratically elected and neutralist President of Ukraine by a U.S. coup in February 2014 and installation by the U.S. of a rabidly anti-Russian regime instead, was done with the ultimate objective of posting U.S. nuclear missiles there against The Kremlin. The war in Ukraine started with that very bloody U.S. coup."

I’ve never heard this before. Thanks I appreciate you giving me a starting point.
Thanks for the zap! Unfortunately US media and the government presents a bias and unbalanced view of things.
No thank you for being the only helpful person in this thread. Everyone else wanted to play monkey in the middle with me and not give me anything to go on.

“Go read for yourself” doesn’t help me get informed and looking for anything on the Internet is hard. Especially when you don’t even know what to look for.

… the rest of y’all? Do better.
Honey, you can literally Google: "John Mearscheimer Russia Ukraine". People *have* pointed you in the right direction. We're trying, but you've gotta try too.
I did and it says here that John Mearscheimer thinks that Ukraine and Russia should share a snickers because “you’re not you when you’re hungry.”

Context is everything and I could go read possibly 100 links and not know what “go google John Mearscheimer Russia Ukraine” means.

I got an answer from someone who didn’t want to play this stupid “you go guess and hopefully figure out what we mean” nonsense game.
Here is also a rebuttal of John Mearsheimer.

Thats not a rebuttal, its a smear piece with very little attention to the contents of his arguments
I don't see any point in spoon feeding people, I gave you a starting point with two solid people to read up on...

The delta between your knowledge and reality is far too large to be addressed by short comments. It's at the level of someone calling bitcoin a scam, to which I only have time to reply "start with saifadeen ammous and good luck".
Got through this. So a lot of this is pro-Kremlin propaganda. It’s thankfully well linked so easier to fact check the claims. Eric Zuesse has ties to Russia Insider so watch out for that.

Misinformation is everywhere so verify everything. But I appreciate you letting me in on what these guys were on about.
The Minsk Peace Accords between Russia and Ukraine were about to be signed in’22. The US and UK put a stop to it.
One should definitely always consider the source, and try to get both sides or all sides of a story.
The US couped the democratically elected president of Ukraine in 2014 and after that time, his base that existed in the Eastern Ukraine had been inhibited from voting in any further elections.
 Yep
