Thanks for the zap! Unfortunately US media and the government presents a bias and unbalanced view of things.
No thank you for being the only helpful person in this thread. Everyone else wanted to play monkey in the middle with me and not give me anything to go on. “Go read for yourself” doesn’t help me get informed and looking for anything on the Internet is hard. Especially when you don’t even know what to look for. … the rest of y’all? Do better.
Honey, you can literally Google: "John Mearscheimer Russia Ukraine". People *have* pointed you in the right direction. We're trying, but you've gotta try too.
I did and it says here that John Mearscheimer thinks that Ukraine and Russia should share a snickers because “you’re not you when you’re hungry.” Context is everything and I could go read possibly 100 links and not know what “go google John Mearscheimer Russia Ukraine” means. I got an answer from someone who didn’t want to play this stupid “you go guess and hopefully figure out what we mean” nonsense game.
Here is also a rebuttal of John Mearsheimer. https://vatniksoup.com/en/soups/250/
Thats not a rebuttal, its a smear piece with very little attention to the contents of his arguments
I don't see any point in spoon feeding people, I gave you a starting point with two solid people to read up on... The delta between your knowledge and reality is far too large to be addressed by short comments. It's at the level of someone calling bitcoin a scam, to which I only have time to reply "start with saifadeen ammous and good luck".
