I completely agree with @fiatjaf here. That’s why we decided to make our main tagline “Join us on Nostr”. All app labels talk about Nostr account, etc.

You are not joining Primal, you are joining Nostr.

 Good move 💜🫂🔥👌
And "you didn't get a shadowban in Primal, you got a shadowban in Nostr"? 🤔
Are there any nostr clients that do no mention nostr? I don’t understand the source of fiatjafs concern here.
Good point, I wasn't clear about that and I don't have any examples, but it's a new "movement", spearheaded by @Karnage , I think, that says clients must hide Nostr from users at all costs.

And you always get these people saying that "normal internet users don't know about TCP" so it's a widespread belief.
I am not sure if this is @`fiatjaf's concern, but for me, what is utterly important is that users understand nostr like they understand email; and like they understand email providers and email clients.

We don't have to lecture people on how nostr works. What we need is to provide uniform identifiers like "Email" and "example@email.com".
I am not aware of any nostr clients that don't mention Nostr, but this was a bit of a dilemma for us when crafting the messaging and UX for new users. There's a cognitive overhead to dealing with two things: "What's this Primal thing? What's this Nostr thing?"

We decided the cost was worth it and leaned all the way into Nostr messaging.
 👏
For anything to be mass adopted, it has to be easy to use and having to understand the tech has to be totally optional. Nostr can get here, but there is simply more work to do before the apps are really consumer friendly.

Nothing that can’t/won’t be solved, just may take a bit of time.
Sorry for the rudeness, but since when you're a specialist in getting products to mass adoption?
I couldn't Send an sats from my trust wallet to my Address In primal?
This is why several years ago, Google made it a requirement for all OEMs playing in their Google ecosystem had to add the boot animation that said "Powered by Android" because it helped build a brand. If you were running a Motorola, HTC, LG, or Samsung device that used Google Play Services, you were going to make it known that you were using Android.

This type of tagline may not matter too much in the distant future, but for now I do see it's value for Nostr.
I'm highly technical, a Bitcoin maxi, and I understand Nostr. I come back every 3 months or so and it's still a nightmare to use, nevermind setup. I'll come back in 3 months. Primal is by far the best client I've used, but it's still awful to use.
