Message delivery reliability seems to be getting better on iOS but the app needs lots of love. Best part about simplex is how easy it is to self host. 

 I feel the opposite, delivery is not improving and there are other new issues interfering. Yes its easy to self host but thats thats private but you will be seen as a torch in the nigh unless your relay has thousand of users. On linux it works fine by the way, a bit more reliable than Android. Ios depends on its own notification system which is slightly more consistent than Android 

 Might wanna re-think that name before you break big.

 Seems there is no goal to break bigs but make a working alternative for those concerned with privacy. Ain't no way to defeat 'normies'.

 for txt messaging and sending files (up to 1gb btw) it's more than enough right now 

 Pura Vida Jack, you care so much about privacy messengers, why are you not caring more about privacy on the money we use?  You could push the privacy narrative for bitcoin quite a bit further and we need to  do that before it is too late.

 Evgeny seems like he's got the right approach and is a cypherpunk purist. clunky here n there... but works. utilitarian for now. 

 @jack how are you thinking about simplex vs nostr? Obviously slightly different use cases for now but working towards a similar goal of decentralized communication.
