I feel the opposite, delivery is not improving and there are other new issues interfering. Yes its easy to self host but thats thats private but you will be seen as a torch in the nigh unless your relay has thousand of users. On linux it works fine by the way, a bit more reliable than Android. Ios depends on its own notification system which is slightly more consistent than Android
