are you trying to ultimately polish the aluminum? or are you trying to scrub a potential plague off of it? what's the finished plan for those walls?
I'm not sure I would bother cleaning the walls. I'd fill that whole void with insulation and run any wiring before putting up some thin wall material attached to the frame
Van Build Update: Removed the steel gate, and storage rack. Lots of work, but the aluminum cleaner worked like gangbusters.
