I know a fairytale always makes better stories, but his name was Dave Kleiman.
That's just silly Wright fiction. Kleiman had nothing to do with Bitcoin.
You were not there on the BBS, you were not even testing his first releases. Wright was just as conman like any other but was there too, Dave was the one doing all the heavy work. Sadly passed away with depression.
Again John McAfee is the only one that knows
Not really. Anyone chatting on the BBS those days around the crypto groups (in the sense of cryptography, cybersec) would be talking to Dave and others on the topic. There were a few other coins before and after that, nothing really too special to be quite frank.
It wasn’t Dave
It was
Solid argument.
I guess you're just another one of those who get a kick out of pretending to be in possession of secret inside information. BBS in the late 2000s, lol ok sure buddy. Dave Kleiman had nothing to do with Bitcoin. It wasn't Dave.
I'm quite well known on the forensics area, which of course digests cutting edge cryptography. Had one of the longest running forum on the topic (~20 years), and tools that shaped that industry. Was doing open source even before it was called that way. Not my fault that you spew arguments without knowing who you are talking to.
Robert Hettinga likely knows... https://mailing-list-archive.cryptoanarchy.wiki/authors/robert_hettinga_rah_at_shipwright_com_/ Or Robert Tappan Morris, who created the first self-updating p2p internet worm.
