Funny enough we are trying to get the kids eating more meat and off anything processed so this is part of that effort.

We listened to part of Cate Shanahans "Dark Calories" on our 8 hour drive back from New Hampshire and decided we shouldn't have any more vegetable oil, which is in everything.

My wife has been making all our own bread since we can't find any that doesn't have soybean oil so this experiment was an extension of that.
Awesome! I think that most of my feeling better this year has been due to cutting out nearly all the processes crap.

I've driven to and through NH quite often. I'm glad you could agree, as a family, what to listen to on that trip! 💪🏻
 That's great for you!

In the book it said the vegetable oils have a 1-2 year half life in our bodies. It will take 4-5 years before they are replaced with good fats.

We are about 2 years in now.

Our latest change is consuming a LOT of minerals.

And by a lot I mean increasing dosage until you are running to the bathroom many times a day and then backing off a bit.

The magnesium is insane once it's dialed in. I feel so much calmer.
I've been supplementing minerals in my water.

I took magnesium glyconate to help with a leg cramping issue I was having, but I'm looking as a magnesium complex soon.
I found out that minerals (stones) which surround me are good for (my) health. Just collect stones and crush them with a hammer to dust. Pour in a glas of water and drink. Some taste neutral but some taste really sweet.
 No thank you.
I'd have to be really choosy about the rocks I'd use for that.
 Why thou?
 Contaminants.
Hm. Never though about that. Good point.
I thought you had to be a vegan or carnivore to be on Nostr
Hah! No. But it sometimes seems that way.

Gosh, I want to try this when I start eating carbs again.
