 Tor version is up! But I will keep this in pre-release for now check for bugs. Please use Obtainium to get it (you have to activate pre-releases in their settings.

 Testing now. 

I tried using the "except for images and videos" preset. My local relay, citrine, didn't connect and showed a socks error.

 I had the same problem. Disabling tor for Trusted Relays fixed it, but I think localhost should always be exempt from the tor circuit to prevent failure connecting to local relays.

 New update looks good. I do think Amethyst should always exempt localhost from tor, otherwise connection to local relays fail. This is fixed by disabling tor for "Trusted Relays", but are there other relays that are considered trusted that are bypassing tor just so tor connection to localhost is disabled with this setting? I think it makes more sense to always disable tor for localhost (127.0.0.1).

 The app should disable localhost in all modes already. Is it not doing that?

 It apparently is not because connection to my local Citrine relay failed with a SOCKS error until I manually disabled tor routing for trusted relays.
