Then I realized that it wasn't helping the people who for whatever reason want to avoid those topics. I thought I was being cleaver. I wasn't. It's an act of deception. No more, no less. You may not like that people filter out those words but it's not up to you what people want to avoid and what they don't. So stop it. Thank you.

@30446797 I had to break the habit of doing that when I came over from Twitter, where people did it mostly to avoid weirdo fans of Musk, Rowling, Trump etc searching for those names to find people to harass. When I twigged that there wasn't the same simple text search over here, I stopped doing that. (I do miss calling Trump "the Orange Menace" though.) And now there is text search, but at least I can opt out.
