Oddbean new post about login | logout @30446797 I had to break the habit of doing that when I came over from Twitter, where people did it mostly to avoid weirdo fans of Musk, Rowling, Trump etc searching for those names to find people to harass. When I twigged that there wasn't the same simple text search over here, I stopped doing that. (I do miss calling Trump "the Orange Menace" though.) And now there is text search, but at least I can opt out.
