No. I simply know how to separate my real life from this space.
Like you, I have not had any negative experience with any men here. Probably because I took the time to decide who I follow and only interact with those I see are respectful. However, I have seen some women I follow get harassed, I have been there for them and proactively blocked those who harassed them. And no, none of the women I follow live here.
I do too but there is a certain personal responsibility we have to acknowledge when we participate in a free speech space. Realistically, not everyone is going to be kind but we can control what we say and how we feel.
this is great when you have a consistent support system outside of the internets...for me getting harassment on here, at work, in my community is a different story, it is hard to control what we say and feel when it comes from every angle. I don't have this luxury to enjoy the world with people i love. I have a constant stream of nonsense. Its a lot and to be told to not care and sit in isolation, and to ignore it, takes a toll.
I understand you and you can be sure that if you need support here, you can count on me 🫂💜 As this grows, the probability of this type of behavior increases. While a technical solution is found, I think it is best to support each other and as users try to suggest the necessary changes to the developers.

So far, I believe we have a community who understands and keeps most of the details of their personal lives private, as they should. The whole point of this place is freedom (at least most dev positions), if you put too much of yourself out there your going to attract attention.
