I’d be interesting in learning which ciders these end up being! Very interested in small cider makers, they are often the best. Our nearest is “Tutts Clump” for example which is made near Yattendon, West Berkshire
This was from a few years ago, we are about to start this years production soon.

We have a mix of eaters and cookers in our village so it's very much a mongrel brew.

When we first started making it we used around 2/3 cookers to 1/3 eaters because that's the ratio of our trees, but we've since adapted it to 2/3 eaters to 1/3 cookers, which is a much more palatable drink.

I would love to travel over to take part in the process, as I don’t know of anything like that locally. The cider makers here are very much their own team.
You should start your own team and exclude them 😂

We generally accept anyone from the village, but it is very definitely a village activity, you also have to bring your own apples 😂
