At this moment what is the best "Slack" alternative that is nostr based?

I know for a fact that Slack is compromised by US Intelligence...the parent company headquarters on the east coast is like 3 miles from Langley VA (CIA).

Seems like an easy pitch for a secure, good UX, anon-friendly #nostr chat app.

#asknostr
Hmm. Maybe https://flotilla.coracle.social or https://groups.nip29.com though these are both very early and experimental.
This is pretty good I love Jon. Seems kinda tough to find people prob just some good old fashioned UX needed. But I know he's working hard to implement really robust encrypted messages.
 Nothing. Yet.
If the purpose of Slack is to discuss business within your company internally... why do you need Nostr relays for that?

If the purpose of Nostr is censorship resistance over relays, why do you want Nostr keys without relays? Wouldn't that increase attack surface for the CIA?

Therefore, I'd recommend using existing tools like Matrix or XMPP on a self-host VPS. And NOT using some random web app
Great points. Asking mostly for community based chats. The key parameters I’m looking for are:
1. Not volunteering plaintext message content to Intel agencies
2. Good UX
3. Not adding another piece of infra I have to manage

Bonus: don’t leak any metadata
How many people in the group chat? like 20 or 200?
If it's 20 people, you can try simpleX. If it's 200, you want matrix.

Are people outside the organization contacting you for support? If so, that likely rules out simpleX and nostr

Are you trying to hide the metadata? If not, could use someone else's matrix server, one of the public ones
Probably in the 50-100 range no support

Just trying to get these people off volunteering IM data for AI based Intel machines
you'd actually probably be better off with Signal if you're not interested in running the VPS.
Signal can do private groups of 100
giving aside that physical proximity doesn't have to mean anything it makes no sense to me to use nostr for inter-company communication.

there are better tools for that.
