Last I checked meat didn’t have vitamin C, and we cannot metabolize it either. 🐶🐾🫡
yes, meat has vitamin C. So does milk, especially sheep and goat but cow to a lesser extent.

put it this way, right now i mainly consume milk, and maybe a litre of beer, and a couple cups of coffee. The beer is taxing my immune system, as is the coffee, and the associated sleep disruptions. But in recent times I have had neither other for as long as a week and zero problems that i can connect to vitamin C deficiency, and that's just UHT cow milk. Fresh meat and raw milk are far more rich in it.

Carbs without an excess of antioxidants is toxic in other ways than respiratory health.
Depends on where the milk is purchased or sourced. Also it it’s boiled/pasteurized, or maybe artificially infused (like some brands in US) 🐶🐾🫡
Meat does indeed have vitamin C, as well as other vitamins. A good example to remember were the expeditions to the polar regions, the men got scurvy if they ran out of fresh seal and penguin meat and they recovered once they resumed eating it.
That’s true, but food preparation played a huge role in retention of it. High temperatures and prolonged storage, reduces its amount. And it also has a half-life of 16-40 days (I think) Also it will depend on how the “meat” was raised and where, and what parts. Hence the recommendation is to get it from fresh vegetables and fruits. To keep scurvy away you only need 10mg of daily intake and that can be absorbed from the meat you consume, but for adult you’ll need to have 5 times more than that (varies on your sex and body mass too). I shouldn’t have made a blanket statement, because there are many variables in that and it is not a simple answer 🐶🐾🫡
It's really hard to get scurvy nowadays 😅 I think you need to want it to get it, idk.

Indeed, but there are other benefits to have sufficient VC 🐶🐾🫂🫡
Your laboratory or your learning skills seems to be very bad.

In fact, when eating a carnivore diet of at least 1000 grams (2.2lbs) of fresh muscle meat alone, you will exceed the amount of vitamin C you need to prevent scurvy (vitamin c deficiency).
First hit on Google with no reputable citations is hardly a great research 🐶🐾🤣🤣🤣

100 % true. These ‚What diet is best for you‘ articles are often fiat-garbage imo.

I studied chemistry and biology, I tried to double check as far as I am able to and I currently think it is a true fact I could verify: Meat in general has much much more vitamins, minerals and nutrients per gram.

So when it is about adequate supply of nutrients meat is the way to go.

Nevertheless everyone should eat what they want.
All good, I have no steak in this (no pun intended) 🐶🐾🫂🤣
one question, how is your digestion on carnivore diet? does it take a while to adjust? i tend to get catastrophic farts when eating mostly meat and eggs and increasing protein intake, and shits get a lot less regular, similar thing happens to me when eating cereal/wheat products/whole grain foods though
Surprisingly much better compared to my years as vegetarian.

Increase the amount of butter you eat together with meat products or consume more fatty meat.
