how strongly do you rely on routines and timeblocking, or do you just go with the vibes?
 Timeblocking always
Do you schedule free time or do you blank it? 🤔
I spent from 2016-2022 logging virtually everything I did. I’m very data driven. Biometrics etc. I think the thing it helped me with most was recognizing how many hours I was wasting per week. 30 minutes here, an hour there. Ends up being dozens of hours a year. If you used even 20% of that time wisely you the possibilities are endless. Just my two cents.
 oh i absolutely agree

i've been thinking about time as a currency more and more as of late, and how do i spend it
Calendar and timeblock. Without it I waste away time on random things...like responding to this note ;)
@vrod how do i timeblock my damus addiction, no it's not a problem (:
Haha I usually go on between meetings when there’s that 10-15 mins that you wouldn’t be able to use that effectively in other tasks. And then in the evenings I don’t timeblock everything so there is some flexibility.
Both. There are certain things I reserve for routine and timeblocking and the rest is a flow and I go with it.
hmm, such as a morning routine and work?
Ya. Exercise.. Reading.. anything that needs to be done. I barely look at my phone until 4/5ish in the afternoon because of it.
i feel like it's incredibly hard for me to moderate my time on the phone... i seemed get stimulated and sucked in so fast, that i don't even notice when i've ended up 4 hours doing nothing of much value

really want to get disciplined more than anything
 Get off your phone, t.
Chop chop go do something.. else.
 thank you, my discipline mentor
Ibe vibing eh @ibe (no-till weed)
I have a very specific routine in the week but go with the flow on the weekend. I need to balance it out so I can feel free at times
i'd be curious to see how y'all plan your days, feel like i missed the "scheduling your life" class in life
haha I would love to hear more about that as well.

I feel like the moment I got a job it was way easier to have a routine compared to when I was studying 😅
oh definitely, feels more abstract in a way
exactly but there is always a way
Unless it’s work or a plan that someone made for me, I don’t schedule anything. Freedom of time is the essence of life
 freedom of time 🤔
i’m trying to aim for that in life but it’s harder than just having a schedule 😭
You allocate time for your needs, any other time available shouldn’t be scheduled but free flowing for what you want in the moment. That’s my view
It’s easy when you do pretty much the same thing every day 😂 #oldmanlife
 exactly 😂😂
oh i'm old already, consider me ancient
I have a routine for the whole week 😂 #oldmanlife
 this is the dream
It depends on the context of the rest of the day. If I have shit to get done, I block everything out on a calendar. If not, just vibin’ bro
I feel like if I'm not doing something, I'm wasting my time

fear of wasting my time is real
Time and bitcoin are the only real assets we have. One should be very wary of how both are allocated 🤝
I vibe out but also set goals and timebox when required to meet said goals.
need somebody to teach me how to discipline myself better
I spent my teenage years obsessed with skateboarding. I practiced skateboarding everyday. that sport teaches you perseverance and discipline. you mostly fail, over and over, but if you focus and keep at it long enough you may succeed. I think this shaped my general approach to life.
played football like that, but i guess i never routinely practiced anything specific like that, as you have to in skateboarding, where the environment, ramps and skills pretty much force you to
 I obsessively follow routines
 such as?

would love to get more insight
