I am secure where I am, but I am in one area I dispise and they are all snakes....I am around snakes that never take accountability and always blame shift and gaslight. 
It takes a lot of energy from me to try to ignore, but I can't....I won't shut up either....lol so I put myself in discussions I cannot win.
To look for something else means leaving that security behind....but I am not alone, I have family that depends on me ...bills to pay ...not easy. 

 If you pave your exit now, you'll be able to transition easily when opportunity knocks. I've been in similar situations in the past, but not as severe. May you find a better place soon! Or may it find you!
