 Day 200: #100pushups + 100 sit-ups + 100 sit-ups MOAR! Had to be ‘whole’ for this post after missing a few days due to last week’s fishing trip! 
I started this journey back on January 30th, Bitcoin was ~43k (now hovering around 60k), I was 17 lbs heavier, and I hadn’t “worked out” in years. I’ve learned to give myself some grace and if my arms/shoulders didn’t feel right to do 100 sit-ups or squats. Getting a short workout done is more important than many other activities and it takes commitment and dedication to ‘get it done’. 

When this challenge is over I intend on making up all the pushups that I had subbed in the prior 200+ days. 
I’m proud of how far I’ve come, but have so much further to go. If I can give any advice to overweight aging dudes it’s:

Listen to your body but keep pushing yourself - no one else will.

 ✅Day 202: I was stressed and put off doing my #100pushups until much later in the day. I need to learn to stop and just do the physical activity to think and feel better DURING the day.

 Be good to yourself and survive the first wave of doubt - you can do this and we’ll see you to the other side of 200!

✅ Day 206: I forgot if I did my last set so I did 33 more - it’s the magic number.
✅ Day 207: it hurts so good when you’re doing the #100aDayTil100k challenge! 
 ✅ Day 208: feeling a little off, hope this isn’t pre-sickness. Did my #100pushups for #100aDayTil100k 
 ✅ Day 209: #100pushups sick is not fun. 
✅ Day 210: 100 more that we’re not my best but I got it done for #100aDayTil100k 
Sometimes you gotta just survive. 
 ✅ Day 211: feeling a little better but still did a crappy #100pushups - just not good form and I did them to get it done because tenacity is needed when doing #100aDayTil100k 
 ✅ Day 212: meds help and I did better pushups today than the past few days. #100aDayTil100k 
 ❌ Day 213: just didn’t get it done. 
✅ Day 214: #100pushups
✅ Day 215: #100aDayTil100k 
✅ Day 216: shoulder was especially sore so I did 100 squats. Still not back to 100% health so I might need to take it easy a few more days. 
 ✅ Day 213: make up with 100 sit-ups! #100aDayTil100k 
 ✅ Day 217: 100+ sit-ups for #100aDayTil100k I’m gonna do a few pushups tomorrow and see how I feel. 
 ✅ Day 218: did 100 squats for #100aDayTil100k but I was ready for:
✅ Day 219: and #100pushups - spread them out over the day and did x25 at a time. 
 ✅ Day 220: #100pushups done early before the night gets too young!

✅ Day 226: 33-34-33 pushups have been good to me. Been doing the 67 of them close and a 3rd set later in the day to fulfill my commitment to do #100aDayTil100k

 ✅ Day 228: nice long walk with the pup and finished my last set of pushups for the day! #100aDayTil100k

 ✅ Day 233: last few days the shoulder has been sore but I pushed through it. Today I did 100 sit ups and hope I’ll be ready for pushups tomorrow. #100aDayTil100k 
 ✅ Day 234: back to my #100pushups - needed that rest! Slow and good form. 
 ✅ Day 235: Do #100pushups today!

 ❌ Day 241: long physical day and then some hours on the road just wasn’t conducive to getting my pushups in. Family needed me physically and that comes first. #100aDayTil100k

 ✅ Day 242: got it done at near the end of the day with shorter break then ‘normal’. #100pushups 
 ✅ Day 243: #100pushups for the win! 
 ✅ Day 244: x2 sets of 50 for the first time - still working on my back and core and overall activity! #100pushups

 ✅ Day 251: 50x2 and pushing my arms with the best form I can keep but getting a little sloppy at the end. #100aDayTil100k 
 ✅ Day 252: been pushing it maybe a bit too hard and need to give my shoulder a day or two to recover. Did 100 sit ups to keep my promise to do #100aDayTil100k 
 ✅ Day 253: gave my arms a rest by doing 50 bench presses with my 40lb kid. Then 15 leg lifts with them hanging on my legs.  My other 50lb kid thought it looked fun so I did 15 more harder leg lifts and figured I finish off strong by doing 20 bench presses with the 50lber. That’s #100aDayTil100k right? 
 ✅ Day 254: TGIF - almost didn’t do anything but busted out 65 squats and 35 lunges before I failed to do my #100aDayTil100k 
 ✅ Day 255: 100 sit-ups on a busy day for #100aDayTil100k
✅ Day 256: #100pushups just barely but I did!
✅ Day 257: 50x2 pushups with better form 
 ✅ Day 258: slow and good form 25x4 for #100pushups 
 ✅ Day 259: 100 kid bench press - make it fun for everyone! #100aDayTil100k 
 ✅ Day 260: 25x4 had to take it a little easier on the shoulder but getting it done for my #100pushups 
 ✅ Day 261: 50x2 warn out tired but feel stronger just doing #100pushups

 ❌ Day 263: sick and weak

❌ Day 292: everything is sore and got halfway done with some sit ups I felt a sharp pull, I stretched it out and took the day off. Tomorrow will be better!
