Day 200: #100pushups + 100 sit-ups + 100 sit-ups MOAR! Had to be ‘whole’ for this post after missing a few days due to last week’s fishing trip!
I started this journey back on January 30th, Bitcoin was ~43k (now hovering around 60k), I was 17 lbs heavier, and I hadn’t “worked out” in years. I’ve learned to give myself some grace and if my arms/shoulders didn’t feel right to do 100 sit-ups or squats. Getting a short workout done is more important than many other activities and it takes commitment and dedication to ‘get it done’.
When this challenge is over I intend on making up all the pushups that I had subbed in the prior 200+ days.
I’m proud of how far I’ve come, but have so much further to go. If I can give any advice to overweight aging dudes it’s:
Listen to your body but keep pushing yourself - no one else will.
