I don't really know who I would have on that primary stage though. It's just kind of wild to me to see a bunch of Bitcoiners who are supposedly trying to fight the state snuggle up to and simp for politicians. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯   

 Ok that makes more sense. I mean from a purely “what awesome things do they have to say about Bitcoin perspective” they are mostly so-so, but I think it’s more about having tons of people who hear how it’s that #Bitcoin is deeply attached to tons of ideas and perspectives that they hear all the time. As much as it feels “watered down” for people who are deep in it, I think it’s a super important part of getting people to “get it.”

I think a lot of people discount that understanding or opening up to bitcoin requires *many* touch points. Having people like this discuss how it’s important to issues they cover is a big touch point for a huge number of people. I know it’s fun to complain, but I think it’s a lot more valuable to others who don’t have our perspective than people realize. 

 I guess when you frame it like that, that's completely fair. When you're already balls deep in the Bitcoin then seeing shit like this is a little bit disheartening but More people will hopefully "get it" when they see their favorite politicians or influencers talking about it. I guess

Bitcoin2024 conference is like “just the tip” for all the bitcoin virgins or those who just started playing the bitcoin game. But long time bitcoiners get annoyed because we’re already balls deep and have both been boning super hard and then got raped through a couple of cycles and who the hell gives a shit about this amateur hour after that? 🤣🤣 

 I thought the ETF would be a gamechanger. People think Trump will change the game.
The thing about Bitcoin is nobody changes the game.

I don’t really care one way or another, and don’t get me wrong it’s excited that high profile people are getting into Bitcoin. I just think that we should hold these people to a high standard in order to get a platform at the biggest Bitcoin event.

It’s obviously completely out of my control.

 Unfortunately, it isn't basic. 

 Trump is running on reciprocal trade.. meaning if another nation applies tarrifs to our exports he will respond in kind.  It's true that this can potentially raise prices but it may be the correct move geopolitically.

Watch him go full strategic bitcoin stockpile and remove capital gains on selling or using your bitcoin. 

 No idea how it is people don't understand this.  

 There is an exception IMO.

In a perfect libertarian country when a foreign state heavily subsidies an industry so they can sell their products at a loss in your country, that can be seeing as an attack, and tariffs must be set in place specifically to that product only. 

Can be happening in the EV sector, China subsidizing really hard directly to the manufacturers, but the US is also doing it indirectly with the subsidies to the consumer.
