ALL of the things measured from within a system that steals from you are designed to keep you in it. Feeding on your energy and getting more chaotic and dangerous.

Prisoners dilemma of the highest order that most people as prisoners can’t see.

My sobering thoughts this morning after reading Nuclear War by Annie Jacobson.

Choose your time wisely!

Atlas Shrugged is a must read, specially if you haven’t lived in a communist country.
Adding Nuclear War by Annie Jacobson to my reading list now. 🫡
Atlas Shrugged changed my life, in a good way
We required our five kids to read Atlas Shrugged. It’s one of the most important books that any kid can read right now. Not only are the long driveling points important, but they teach the kids how to think and pay attention to understand.

Atlas Shrugged should be taught at every grade K through 12 including college classes. Most kids have never even heard of the book.
💯 I am saving a copy for my children.
Love it your kids are going to be self sovereign as hell!
They already are. Killing it. If you raise your kids the right way, the world is loaded with opportunity right now.

I continue to be amazed how many parents mislead their kids. It's not so much the parents, it's the schools - but it's the parents lack of awareness that that 'system' is working against them, and their kids.
the more you learn in centralised education the dumber you get
 So true.

I would have argued that point some years back - saying there is something good about all education - it's learning to be objective.

But I have changed my view - unless you learn first to be objective, question everything, you can't tell if you are being brainwashed. Which is where we are right now with education.

So education based on process and procedure actually dumbs you down over time. Think deep about this - and we can understand how Elites gain control of so many minds.
My grandma homeschooled me for 8th grade, this was a reading assignment. No one I talked to that I went to public school with has read it. Wonder why?

Yes we call it the progressive tax system.

It is quite amazing how those who fight to get ahead, make no mistake 99% of people are like that, are punished by higher taxation

I read that recently on holiday Jeff, a very sobering read😳. The President is under considerable pressure (And very tight time constraints), once they're given the news!
I believe escape from the fiat prison will become easier and easier over time, following #bitcoin exponential growth. I think the first more miners join the network, more utilities/use cases coming online, and more adoption. Then more bitcoin jobs will be created, the cycle keeps repeating, gradually then suddenly we are heading to hyperbitcoinizaton.
 gradually than suddenly
 *then
Spending more time on Nostr has been great
Here's my dilemma. So I believe in sound money. I have fiat loans. The more fiat loans there are the more this creates demand for fiat and so strengthens fiat. So I should get rid of my fiat loans. But the more fiat loans there are the more fiat debases and the more my fiat loans devalue against my sound money. So my possession of sound money gives me a vested interest in the debasement of fiat; but this is contrary to my belief that debasement of currency isn't good for society as a whole.
The currency will debase either way, and you will end up paying back those loans eventually so it's effect on debasement is negligible.

However the value of those loans to the Bitcoin network, and to yourself, is much higher and beneficial to society than the miniscule effect it has on debasement.

I say take out the loans, buy Bitcoin and don't stress.
are you society as a whole? just because some of us know how to deal with debasement, doesnt mean its good for society at large
I also plan to read “Nuclear War”. We must all endeavor to promote the good over the evil. It begins with introspection.
Hard to stay calm these times and to hope that madness has a limit.
Reading "Gambling with Armageddon" by Martin J. Sherwin and knowing if you come close to the abyss it is pure luck to survive, makes it hard to concentrate on clean energy in the other system.
But there is no other option - thanks god that we have the other system and people who work on it.
Thanks!

I read Nuclear War a couple weeks ago. It’s not for the faint of heart.

I’ve also read Soft War three times. I continue to dissect parts of it.

Put these two books together with the fact that the hash rate is at an all-time high, and I can’t help but think that we’re at the beginning of a hash/Bitcoin arms race already. We may not know for a couple years, but if the hash rate continues to increase above current market rewards, I think Jason‘s thesis becomes more real and the threat of nuclear war starts to decrease. For the reader, if you have not read the book/thesis Soft War by Jason Lowry, this may not make sense.

Biggest positive? I think Putin is the adult in the room and will achieve their goal of liberation and stop. (Sad but true)

Biggest negative? The leaders in the west and the elites in the US continue to try to stoke war. Everywhere.

What can we do? Move as much of your life to a bitcoin standard as you possibly can. It’s an ongoing journey.
Jeff, do you believe in Jason Lowery’s thesis of #Softwar. And that Bitcoin adoption could potentially prevent war (including nuclear threat) through mutually assured preservation game theory?
I agree with much of what he wrote. (In fact, I was one of the first to connect with him on LinkedIn and asked him to join Twitter and expand on it) That being said, I think he spent too much time becoming the message (because of ego) and talking about Bitcoin being military tech, when the mode of action to get to the same place is incentives of the free market.
But yes - as long as we are the network and it stays decentralized and secure….it removes the incentives of the war machine.
Jeff, if you've not come across this chap's work, its original, and superb.

 The prison is your mind

Nukes are fake and gay

Biggest psyop of 21st century

Fear is the mind killer
Just read this last night. Written in 2016. The premise was similar to Price of Tomorrow --> Robotics, Ai and Bitcoin combined lead to exponential growth of tech and human evolution. Have you come across it?

Couldn't agree more with your post too.

 "Nukes"
Classic fear porn propaganda.

There are no nukes.

Absolutely 💯… we’ve been running analytics on my profiles since roughly 2019 and chaos in my analytics right now from me trying to leave centralized platforms is wack to observe…

In my (former?) world, there’s a LOT of real world interaction with online personalities. We all actually physically travel to the same locations week after week… which makes the danger very real world, as well.

Comply or be silenced. But really, just comply. Because we can’t have you silent… it cuts into our profits

Thank you Jeff. I need daily reminding. https://media.tenor.com/fYl0qOAwGUcAAAAC/mignon-urgent.gif
Happy Saturday!!!! I’m asking the question to myself whether I start the revolution during the work “away day” on Wednesday. Also routed in no one being able to appreciate the system they’re operating within.
That’s right. The classical prisoners dilemma is something different. Jeff meant another dilemma: being a prisoner without even knowing it.
Except the allegory of the cave doesn’t destroy the cave because the cave dwellers didn’t know they were in a cave.
