I don't know who needs to hear this but you can do carnivore cheaper than you do your regular food that is poisoning you. 1.6lbs of pure fatty red meat sitting here on this scale that cost me about $6. Guarantee that's cheaper than the Starcucks mocchachinofrankensugarlatte diabetes fuel that your low energy, low nutrient ass 'needed' to wake up this morning. https://m.primal.net/IFio.jpg
Where do you buy it? My spouse does all the shopping so I'm a moron about where to get stuff.
I have to say IF and it is an IF you have a Costco Business Center near you it is the best value in top quality meats I can find. They serve mostly family and small chain resturants. But anyone with a regular membership can go. I have to drive about 25 miles to Dallas, the distance isn't the issue the shit hole traffic is. I take two 100 gallon cooler and go about 2 times a year. I cut my own primals and average 2-8 dollars a pound on all out meat from there. Chops, strip loins, chucks, rib racks, etc. Not everything is cheap but it is all higher quality then anything at the markets and all less by a long shot. It still makes sense to track sales and deals. If you have one near you put in the zip code of the store as your zip code, it will only show online prices if delivery is available to your location. Then you can game out what you want to buy in advance and I don't care if it is July the 4th, take a heavy coat and wear pants. The walk in cooler is about a half acre of glory and cold AF! Check out Meat Dad at one of these the area he is walking though is a cooler. Again cold AF in there. https://www.tiktok.com/@meatdad/video/7284648600557178155?q=costco%20business%20center%20meat&t=1715518331737

You know... I stop by McD's to get some meat cookies sometimes if I'm in a pinch (order online a triple from the value menu without bun and add a pattie). Beef is beef. Not the highest quality, but still...
You should be able to order just patties more cheaply than frankensteining your way into it
Yeah, *should. I'm a mathy kinda dude, and I've looked for the cheapest deal. It ends up being something like $10/lbs for what I mentioned, if I recall correctly.
OK fair enough I've seen carnivores advocate ordering just patties but if you've done the math I'm inclined to trust your conclusion
It doesn't appear that you're able to order just patties from the app, AFAIK. In-person may be different. However, I have noticed the app is cheaper on a selection of items. I am sure that's to hook people on the convenience.
Let me know if you want fries with that next time. https://image.nostr.build/efe706033ab30d5a8f042711d553daeb3a78842a4345872dd710083e2b937d75.jpg#m=image%2Fjpeg&dim=894x1280&blurhash=%5EnQSxXRj_Nozxat7ozofjZj%5BRjWB%3Fvt7MxayMxRPDiRjyDofjFofWBRjaej%5Boft7tRofV%40WBofWBt7ozRjV%40ofay%25gayMxayWBofofayWBkBa%7CkC&x=afff7f07e5e32f85aa3830b2e529a210f2431e8b8689a566b83631be330b451e
You carnivore people are going make yourselves sick, you need organs too. Hunters go for the liver and heart after a kill not the back muscles, you tards
None of what you said is accurate. Ask Dr. Shawn Baker and Dr. Anthony Chafee if they ever touch organ meat. They'll tell you no and they've been doing it for many years.
Agreed. Eat what you like off the animal and be healthy. I happen to like liver and onions once in a while but don't see it as a neccessity.
Yeah I'll have some organs every now and then as well. They're cheap carnivore eats! Currently boiling down some blood I had come off the roasts I bought today. Mix it up with some salt, good shit. https://m.primal.net/IFol.jpg
Why the hell would you cook blood ? You are denaturing all the proteins and destroying the nutrition. At least it's something besides tge steak i see in every "carnivore" post.
Appeal to authority. Yeah and Shaw hits Gear. Who Cares. Countless other "doctors" also looks "healthy" and can back up their claims with scientific studies and professional opinions too. The covid Vaccine has studies backing it too. It is absolutely true that for short and long term health you need head to toe animal nutrition. All the blue zones eat some form of raw organ meat, especially for pregnent women, all traditional hunting societies, as featured in Weston A. Price studies, went right to splitting up the organs after a hunt, eating it before it bsgan to rot. The diets of pre-sedentary societies with optimal health and physique, did not just eat a grilled out steak. Certain hormones and other nutrients are found in greater available quantities in organ meats. Raw organic egg yolks were also sought out, fish ect. Many people have abandoned the standard "carnivore" diet after years because it suffers from a nutrient difficiency similar to veganism, despite it being better than carb and SAD based diets. They often go back to eating plant foods, not realizing that what was missing was organs.
I eat organs too every now and then. Another cheap cut on the carnivore list.
In fact, here's some heart in my fridge. https://m.primal.net/IGFF.jpg
Who the fuck said we didn't eat organ meats?
I never see organs such as brains or liver in these so called "carnivore" diet posts. It's always steak.
I will add you need to learn more about biology and culinary. The heart while and organ is not an organ meat. Why? IT IS MUSCLE YOU DOUGHNUT. Nutritionally the heart is no different than lean steak.
I am perfectly aware that the heart is a Muscle, however it contains volumes more blood than other muscle meat, and blood is the Gatorade of nature. After a real hunt, you know the traditional kind humans did for centuries, and our bodies developed to thrive on. Not the beer and walmart gear queer sniper scope tree stand hog baiting you did. The claim is, hunters go for the heart and liver, and other organs like brain, the most nutritious parts, not just muscle meats, and the real hunters still do.
And I grew up hunting, we fed deer liver to the dog. I put 4-5 deer a year into the freezer by the time was was 14 and processed most of the families deer at that point to, about 20-25 animals a year. Stay in your lane, IDK what it is, but this isn't it.
Congrats, you gave your dog a better diet than yourself, Or did you also eat the organs aswell ? Which was my entire point.
I found this, too. An OMAD* carnivore can do 0.8-1.6lbs/day @ $3.50-4.20/lbs, and add 10-20% for seasonings, that's not a bad deal in today's market. Flavor (esp. cheese) becomes the expensive thing at that point, not calories. *One meal a day.
