Doesn’t collaborative custody make your sats KYC?
Depends on who you collaborate with.

Does casa need ID, address, ssn, etc?
 Absolutely not.
Can Casa multi-sig be used with two keys stored in offline hardware devices or is the mobile key compulsory?
Doesn't do KYC.. Yet. Sorry had to.

As someone who's had their door kicked in by the feds (well not my door but the previous company I was part of) if they want you to comply you comply, it's just a matter of time. No one wants to risk losing their family or their life for some silly regulations, and I don't blame them.
What company were you part of?
I was in the aftermarket automotive field, vs the EPA. I was asked not to share the details, but it's all public knowledge.

This was what happened to a company adjacent to us. They were far less justified and therefor were hit with criminal charges. We were lucky enough to only have a civil case brought against us. At any time that could have changed though.

This is about cars not Bitcoin.

I’m not saying feds won’t go after casa but what are they going after them for? If all they do is hold one key, they’re not considered custodians. But even if they do that, you at least still have your other keys. Doing multisig on your own is better for sure but doing single sig is riskier imo.
To the feds, I think bitcoin is way worse than the automotive field, happy to be wrong, but suits care way more about protecting their money than they do modified cars.

What I'm arguing is that the feds are a mafia, they make up rules as they go along to do whatever they want. Were were told "We don't want people like you in business" over a phone call. The constitution means nothing to them, unless you have deep pockets, find good federal judges, have really good lawyers, and a few years worth of time to take them on in court. In that meantime you operating funds will be seized, any computers/equipment usually gets taken, the IRS usually shows up for an audit of you business, your personal finances, and your family finances.

Do you think they just want to beat up car people? Gun guys have it way worse.
I agree they are a mafia and I see your points. It can happen and I would plan for that if I did use casa. But if feds do kick down their doors, you still have your two keys and casa can’t force you to KYC if they don’t have your info. I imagine this structure was intentional.
You're right. However I still don't think it would look pretty when they do come up with a fresh pair of shiny boots. Worse case they force the business to shut down I suppose.
On the lite end, Blockstream Green, too...
