This is a really bad response. Pointing out that an attempt to push Bitcoin adoption forward doesn't actually work properly isn't disparagement or belittlement. It's just accurately pointing out that an idea doesn't work properly and needs to be fixed. Blocking payments to this broken feature is a good thing, especially given that Mutiny is also giving users the ability to turn that blocking off if they're willing to risk losing money. Of course, long term the Lightning protocol needs to be improved. But those improvements need to actually work properly. Zeus's use of hodl invoices doesn't. The best path forward here is for Zeus to tone down the ego, disable Zeus Pay for now, and figure out a better way to do it. nostr:nevent1qqsvm25pv6gfk77mcps4hq5n9auq7xzzrzjnefj5lh6ulqr43evz4jcpr9mhxue69uhkummnw3ezuurvv43xx6rpd9hzummjvupzqdxj75n57x2clnfvkfrrm2l2mhu2y8uy4njzg8dg3qprhuzueqy4qvzqqqqqqykmz097
It’s still in Beta, look up what that means. Zeuspay not going anywhere. Go cry about it
Yes I agree, but the whole statement could have used a “we’re working out the kinks be patient” by whatever ain’t nobody got time for perfect boilerplate PR responses. Love all y’all hoes.
It could have definitely been more graceful but Mutiny went for their neck, I honestly can’t blame the jerk response lol. I think it should go without saying that kinks are being worked out though. This thing has been in beta for a month and from the last TestFlight update a few days ago I can already see huge improvements. These devs from both teams are under a lot of stress, we just need to let devs figure out the best strategy to be compatible
All I know is I tried to zap to Zeus and thought they all failed, but apparently they didn’t. But you only know that by verifying every single time. Which is cumbersome AF. And sketchy.
