This is a really bad response.
Pointing out that an attempt to push Bitcoin adoption forward doesn't actually work properly isn't disparagement or belittlement. It's just accurately pointing out that an idea doesn't work properly and needs to be fixed.
Blocking payments to this broken feature is a good thing, especially given that Mutiny is also giving users the ability to turn that blocking off if they're willing to risk losing money.
Of course, long term the Lightning protocol needs to be improved. But those improvements need to actually work properly. Zeus's use of hodl invoices doesn't.
The best path forward here is for Zeus to tone down the ego, disable Zeus Pay for now, and figure out a better way to do it.
