The inflation rate just fell for the 6th consecutive month. The perception of the situation doesn't exactly match the reality. The fact is we live in an inflationary economy, and inflation is normal, expectated aspect. There's still work to be done, especially in sectors like food, and transportation, but it's simply not true that we're in some runaway inflation. And the notion that we can end inflation is absurdity that's being sold by politicians as a way of getting elected. Such a thing has no basis in fact.  

 I said nothing about runaway inflation. Just that it can't be stopped. You agreed..
So you believe Gov. figures.. lol... All masked up were you, how many jabs did you get?

 Eh, well.. Sounds your very pro our current financial system. which is just weird.. and interested to hear what other gov. narrartivs you've gone along with.. 

 I'm actually interested in discussions with people of various beliefs, and not engaging in ad hominens, and personal attacks and insults.  So I think we're at an impasse.

Again, you agreed inflation is "expected". Not sure why you believe gov figures though. 

 Do you have any evidence that the numbers are wrong? Or do you suspect they're wrong and are conflating your suspicion with fact?  

 I expect Gov to lie. I expect them to change the formula that is used to calculate inflation to be changed to suit. 

 I have watched gov after gov for decades, lie, lie and lie again. But 4 years later everyone forgets..
