Gonna start deadlifting again.
Used to do a lot of powerlifting to assist with martial arts competitiveness. I kept doing it for a while after that even though I gave up fighting. Lately I just do a lot of biking, pushups, body weight squats, etc.
But my core’s gotten weak from so much sitting and typing. Posture not great unless I am mindful of it. Going to bring back the deadlifts and other things now that my husband has built a home gym, just at a bit lower weight and more reps than I used to.
Deadlifts every day til 100k?
Back squats. Front squats. Overhead squats. Hand stands.
Do one of those things. Maybe not deadlifting everyday.
But def deadlift too! Fuck benching though. Useless
Front squats kill ya first day back 😂
Joking about the everyday part.
Will figure out the real frequency when I get back into it.
Showing up to do the work is the hardest part. 😵💫
💪 strong legs strong body
lfg! i keep thinking about how i need weights in the house... at least to stop the doors slamming when the warm summer heat gets here
Uh oh, she's preparing for battle. Probably best we pay attention.
Single leg Romanian deadlifts ftw
I like it. I think i need to add another exercise in my daily.
deadlifts~!! :3
purr-lease remember your rest days.
^___^
Deadlift, squat, bench -> repeat
Don’t forget the press. Crucial lift.
Love it. Deadlifting is one of the most important lifts. Strength training recommends heavier weight and less reps with perfect technique. Heres a great video of checkpoints and rationale if you need/want a refresher.

Ignore the “art of manliness” aspect, this lift (like bitcoin) is for everyone!
100K 1 rep or 100K for sets?
I love deadlifts. Gun to my head and I can only do one lift for the rest of my life? Deadlifts every time
Sound idea. We got to put those steaks at work.
I 2nd the people that say add deadlifts to the workout rotation but everyday doesn’t give the body any time to rest and repair. Every 2-4 days should give the best results if what I understand about biology and human kinesiology are true.
Not everyday. You need to rest your legs every other day
I’m all about knocking out tons of reps when deadlifting with moderate weight then say 1 rep max training. Get some good wrist straps and bang them out. Your grip strength will give out long before your legs and back which allow you to really get after it. Also recommend the trap bar as well.
I would recommend doing a lower back strengthening and mobility program as you ease into deadlifting again… had a great experience with Www.lowbackability.com he is on IG as well… you pay what you want and the entire program will help you bulletproof your ankles, knees and lower back so you can train with greatly reduced injury risk 🙏🏼🫡
I’m in but every other day
Definitely don’t want to deadlift every day unless you’re trying to hurt yourself
Why stop at deadlifts, clean and press will give you more muscle engagement
make sure to also throw in unilateral movements like lunges or whatever you like ...
deadlifts because they are bilateral ( symmetrical ) will leave you weak in any situation where you are off balance ...
also make sure to put some torque on your torso with exercises like Russian Twists
basically anybody who thinks deadlifts = strength is a mid-wit. deadlifts are just one component of strength.
personally i Olympic Lift but even that doesn't hit everything - it is still bilateral.
if you throw in Unilateral kettlebell exercises on top of Olympic Lifts that will make for a pretty solid strength foundation ...
but i just stick to OLY because i like to show off in front of the gym bunnies ...
Squats, deadlifts, presses and bench presses. Then chinups and power cleans. Everything else in the gym is mostly fuckarounditis.
Good luck Lyn, you're a legend. I recommend looking up Starting Strength on youtube.
Rip puts out good shit, love that dude’s books
Til 1M if you want longer lasting fix 😂🫂
two times per week is enough, we lift together for the 100k 💪
Yes. Deadlifts, Sit-ups on a decline bench, and Face Pulls.
Lower back, core, scapula.
lift and write heavy things
throw some lunges and hip thrusts in there too 🍑 🍑 🍑
Bitcoin fall bellow 57k after the halving due to the high volatility, and because of lack of skills and strategy most of you folks sell off with out of fear in the space,

just in case ....
your core is stronger than you think. there's a lot who have your back ..... oh you meant! .....
GM. go well 🙃
100% What is your max deadlift?? Also Bitcoiners are not allowed to use straps! Pretty sure Satoshi put that in the whitepaper...somewhere. 🧐
I find it hard to lift heavy deadlifts everyday. Personally I have a better time with DLs (power, posture, stamina) if I do them every 2 or 3 days.
your core got weak when you didn't support the Palestinians despite having intimate knowledge of their plight through your time in Egypt.
What equipment did you get for the home gym?
Deadlifting is good for the soul
Fyi you have impersonators on nostr shilling spammy shit but I guess you likely already know that. Lyn Alden followers pls be aware.
