Yeah, it's an unrealistic requirement. But there's enough of us, now, to have local, el-cheapo meetups, and those are slowly rolling out. Very exciting. More like what #einundzwanzig does. Have two more coming up, this summer. 👍

No, really, this is me IRL, too. I'm the volunteer lady from the PTA, who sings in the church choir and sells homemade goods at the farmer's market, so that the mayor feels grudgingly obliged to be polite and give me invitations to the City Hall Christmas party because everyone has at least seen me around and leaving me out would be difficult to explain. It's a whole vibe.
A third part is just to ignore Primal, nostr band or wherever people get the notion of someone being elite and just start to curate your own followers list with people who talk about stuff you find interesting
Well, you can easily see the elites in most clients because they are hardly in the replies, but their OPs repost like 20 times in your feed. 😂 Even if they just post an emoji and can't even be bothered to write a single word, you'll see that emoji immediately begin to cascade.
Maybe I'm not following enough fanboys to have this problem, but I'll keep an eye on it to see if I'm just ignoring it or if I'm being so starstruck that some elite person has actually showed up in my modest timeline that I'm not annoyed about it 😂

I'm actually one of the few "real" writers here, but I'm slowly digging up a few more. When I first got here, the feed was mostly real porn, fake porn, dev chat, and tired memes. I complained loudly, for weeks, and everyone told me to shut up and produce the stuff I'd want to read, if I think I could do a better job of it. So, I did.
Now, you know this, too. And this is why I got a development team together. Cuz people told me to do it myself, if I think I can do a better job of it. And, I can't do a better job.
