 new thing today

i often sit here too long at a stretch at my seat, and wish i had more energy

so i go to the kitchen and dispense another pod espresso, and come back, and it somehow fails to really help that much

so, i'm gonna start doing pushups and squats here and there when i get really aggrevated about my mental focus

aside from that also, gonna just do a flat 2h/day on my paid gigs, because working on that shit makes me mad also

but it does serve to break up the struggle with the nostr things

it'll more than suffice to hit the PM targets i specced out for my current paid project though

i'm mainly a programmer, but i have a peripheral interest in business and related disciplines, and having a head full of competing things makes the programming work suck, but not having everything straight also makes the PM and business side of the work suck

would be nice to be able to join a competent team in #bitcoin /#nostr dev but i suspect i'm going to be the leader of any such thing when i finally get to that
FWIW, I enjoy your posts because I learn from them.
A walk outside would probably work even better than the pushups and squats 🙂
Will go a step further and recommend a standing desk + desk treadmill setup
 already have the standing desk

good point about the stepping though... might have to get into some pacing and desk in upwards position
That was my suggestion as well.
might sound cheesy, but i let go & let God in high stress situations, it helped just last week when i knew i was helpless to engage. i am appreciative of your fire m!
yeah, having people sharing teh building brings up all other kinds of trauma for me as well... gonna pipe down and go more low key
balance helps me, sometimes i have to make myself perform but usually glad i did after the task is done/ done thru prioritizing, big believer in natural though & focusing on the positive adds/U do have value(4 me) ref. building but wish U peace in this process/reminds me of my best friend who is an artist(PHD in music, composer) & a perfectionest/i gotta luv him! all the best m!
when i say perform that includes breaks & fun
yeah, managing the life is important... up to now many bad habits born of my alienation and disenfranchisement... only just starting to actually make good routines
