Israel has not committed genocide. It is however committing an ethnic cleansing. As for the ICC I have strong reservations. No power should be global and centralized. I'm glad the U.N. is feckless and the WHO should not have power either. Nations should retain 100% of their sovereign power.
Thanks for the distinction between genocide and ethnic cleansing. I looked into UNs Definition of both. While There's a clear definition of genocíde there, there's no clear definition of ethic cleansing. The examples given give me the impression that genocide is ethnic cleansing on steroids. It might be genocide, I'm not a linguist. I think it's better to just say that they want them gone somehow. It seems they believe that if they retaliate with overwhelming force, that Palestinians will be "beaten into submission". But I don't think it works like that. It might work that way with animals, breaking an animals spirit like a horse... but once a creature has 'religion' they will die for their cause, their spirit can't be broken. So IMHO they are not doing it to "kill them all" but I think that they won't get what they are seeking unless the do commit genocide, so I don't see how this ends well.
