I don't think that's really true. I think it's more of a one man crusade. It's Andrews Army :) I find #Gab the most irritating of all the #socialnetworks because they're the biggest hypocrites. They spout #freespeech slogans and then they ban people for linking to #Mastodon and blaspheming. I didn't quite believe these claims myself, but I tested it and my account was suspended. They don't want free speech. They want Andrew's law.

There is only one definition of free speech. You can say what you like. If you can't blaspheme you don't have freedom. It's that simple. You can't speak freely until you can think freely and you can't think freely if you're told what to think. What Gab offers is the same thing Xi offers China. My way or the highway. That's a dictatorship. Saying you believe in free speech and then telling people what they can say is hypocrisy. More importantly, while Andrew controls Gab he can control what people say. Relying on his indulgence is not real freedom. It's the freedom of a surf. If he said this is Christian network where we indoctrinate people in the one true religion, I'd have no issue with him. It's the lies that irritate me.
