For me, the point of this graphic is that sometimes the truth is beyond a human completely grasping it and we only have a truth. Because we all go into any experience loaded with previous experiences, bias, and a level of ignorance (that whole I don't know what I don't know thing), I try to maintain an air of curiousity when a truth of my own doesn't align with someone else's. It isn't an attack on me; it is simply theirs. I seek to understand how their subjective truth is related to what I think to be objective truth and to my subjective truth. Otherwise, how will we ever find common ground? I am not sure a large percentage of humans can agree upon THE truth with most of the issues we are facing. Yes, the sun is hot as defined by its very temperature, but most of our issues are not measurable, nor are they so impersonal. There is so much nuance. So for me, focusing on THE truth necessitates assigning a right and wrong for beliefs. 15 years or so ago I decided that The Truth can never be written or spoken, at best it can be pointed to. Before deciding this, I decided that I would only hold onto a belief if it continued to serve me. I continue hold onto both beliefs. What I've learned from the Essenes is that the more words used, the further from pointing to the truth you become. They tended to use simple metaphors & stories to record their Truth. The Truth is Love. When you reduce all Truth to it's essence, all you have is Love. You cannot think your way to Truth, you have to feel your way there.
