I can’t be bothered to read the whole thing, but it looks like the gist is “we use VMs because of privilege/root access and VMs require more hardware/energy than if we just ran everything on the host OS”.

 @6b8a25fc I don’t know anything about cars, but I say keep the cassette deck and use one of those cassette tape to audio jack adapters and connect that to a Bluetooth receiver.
