Although I have no problem believing that tech dudes leveraged the status of vulnerable a community [nonbinary] to gain access to an hiring opportunity not meant for them…please know that the reason this happened at all is due to Grace Hoopers years of performative DEI efforts that routinely marginalized the already marginalized
It’s long overdue on pulling the plug on this failed “experiment” that enable “corporate America” to “buy” into DEI without doing any of the work of reducing harm
Many of the “democracy is on the line” party [white folx] are the same who’ve IGNORED, for GENERATIONS, the calls for help and efforts of the most vulnerable to address the strategies that have led to this moment…those who “democracy” was NEVER supposed to include…hell many of you drafted those strategies with the kind of arrogance that you’d NEVER be IMPACTED…well done 👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾
Unpopular Opinion: former republicans who’re NOW speaking out about the behavior of their former party should BEGIN each statement with an ACKNOWLEDGMENT of their role; affiliation in CREATING this moment…anything less means that we’ve NOT learned the lessons of the past
The future of the “democracy” was lost when those who initiated the conditions which led to Civil War were NOT held accountable AND were allowed to lie about or simply ignore their participation

Kindness ABSOLUTELY comes at a cost because, unlike being “nice” which is rooted in external validation; often false, being “kind” is rooted internally and requires self-reflection and the ability to manage one’s feelings while seeking authenticity; honesty which is DEFINITELY the harder path
