Kindness ABSOLUTELY comes at a cost because, unlike being “nice” which is rooted in external validation; often false, being “kind” is rooted internally and requires self-reflection and the ability to manage one’s feelings while seeking authenticity; honesty which is DEFINITELY the harder path
