Try a live Linux session from a USB key and do an analysis from there?
I'm sure you can work what is going on with the disk and partitioning in a live sess.
Today, I'm translating all of the communication materials for a new art exhibition about to be launched in Bologna.

@f1ee7a25 Excellent! If you want to try to migrate content from WordPress, note that there is a handy "Wordpress-to-Hugo Export" plugin that should carry over all of your content and post permalinks. The book I recommended by @c04441ad also has a great chapter on migrating content to Hugo. It looks like a relatively painless process, though I haven't tried myself! Have fun!
@f1ee7a25 I am getting on really well with Hugo. Extremely fast and lightweight, takes seconds to set up. Easy to tinker with. Portable, simply a folder you can copy anywhere. No messing around with LAMP or such. Am enjoying creating my own theme from scratch, but there are plenty of themes available. Easily hostable on GitLab, with CI/CD and a simple YAML file, or cheap service. I got up to speed on it using the wonderfully clear and concise book by Brian P. Hogan.
